Life Insurance Book Cover

Book Cover for Vanier's French Department

Vanier's French department needed a book cover for "Ouvrons Nos Fenetres" 2015-2016 and I designed it based on the idea of colour party because this book is about intercultural writings and I thought colors can be symbols of different cultures mixed together to create new societies as the multicultural society we have in Canada. Alphabetical letters from various languages were used to convey the concept of writing.

Symposium Poster

I designed a poster for Second Annual Symposium of Iranian Professionals in Quebec. This minimal poster is consistent in color theme and design concept with the last year poster which was also created by me. Every year, we need to take one symbol in Quebec, particularly Montreal and integrate it in the design. Different icons are used to show the fields of study in this symposium.

Logo and Facebook Cover photo for Business Montreal

A Montreal-based Persian business group asked me to design their logo and Facebook cover photo. To design it, I was inspired by two buildings: Freedom Tower in Tehran and Biosphere in Montreal. I designed window pieces of Freedom Tower (symbol of professional immigrants) flying toward the Biosphere (symbol of Montreal) and find their place in it. This idea shows how this group helps new immigrants to find their place in the job market of Montreal. The logo is also illustrated by these two elements and colors are inspired by Quebec flag.

DVD Cover

I focused on designing a DVD cover for an imaginary movie called Eclipse. Inspired by the name of the movie, I used the circle of the DVD as the moon in an eclipse. The font is also consistent with the idea of eclipse. To deliver the sense of a mysterious movie, I put shadows on the faces. One of the things that I really enjoyed in this project, was illustrating the eclipse which was really interesting.

Big Band Poster

Music department of Vanier College offered a contest to design a poster for Big Bang music event. Since the event was about jazz music, I decided to follow an Art Deco style which dates back to 1920s when jazz music was introduces.
